Immigration Lawyer in Malaga

Since I began my career as a lawyer in 1996, I have been deeply committed to immigration and migration law. The process of applying for residency or visas in Spain can be complex and, in many cases, overwhelming for foreign nationals.

As an immigration lawyer, I have the opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary legal team at Tejada Solicitors, collaborating closely with José María Oliva, one of the firm’s senior property lawyers and among the most experienced English speaking lawyers in Malaga, as well as with Rosana Tejada Crespo, a specialist in international taxation. This integrated approach allows us to jointly assess cases where the timing and type of visa or residency obtained may have a direct impact on the client’s worldwide tax exposure and global assets

Since my enrollment in the Malaga Bar Association (ICAMALAGA) in 1996, I have advised and represented individuals and families from different jurisdictions, helping them regularize their legal status in Spain and successfully achieve their residency objectives. With more than 25 years of professional experience, I have handled a wide range of matters related to residency permits, visas, and the rights of foreign nationals.

I am also part of the Special Shift for Immigration and the Foreigners’ Guidance Service (SOJE) at the Illustrious Bar Association of Malaga. Throughout my career, I have completed advanced and specialized legal training, including Doctoral Degree studies at the University of Malaga and an “Expert in European Communities” program. My expertise covers areas such as Brexit, immigration during the COVID-19 pandemic, succession of assets of foreign citizens, and labor reform. This continuous professional development ensures that I remain fully up to date with regulatory changes affecting expatriates and international investors in Spain.

I have participated in conferences and congresses covering topics such as residency permits, asylum, deportation proceedings, fundamental rights, non-lucrative visas, digital nomad visas and Golden Visas. Not only has this knowledge strengthened my professional practice, but has also allowed me to offer people personalized, clear and effective solutions, even when it comes to the most complex cases.

I believe that keeping in touch with the client is key in any legal procedure. Fluid and constant communication with the client helps to better understand what needs to be done, as well as to warn of the risks and opportunities that the different immigration proceedings have to offer them.
